Walan January Event
This January WALAN will hold host to a DarkLight Laser Gaming event.Held on Saturday 2nd January 2010 from 13:30 Till 16:00 at DarkLight Joondalup Entry Fee is $30, Be there by 13:00 Hours.!!
Places are strictly limited and will fill up fast so register today at http://register.walan.org to confirm your spot for just $30 You get 4x 20 Minute sessions to duke it out and eliminate the WALAN admins.
The winner of the day who has the combined highest score of all 4 games will take home a very good prize and be crowned the champion of WALAN Laser Gaming.
All are welcome so register today, Places are strictly limited!.. This is a Pre-Pay Only event.

December Event
Due to a number of ongoing issues, we are sad to announce that the December 2009 WALAN event is postponed. Additionally we would like to apologise to the community for not announcing the cancellation of our October event, which was cancelled for the same reasons.We've tried to explain the issues we're currently facing and what the horizons looks like for the WALAN events in a rather candid post, and we would value your thoughts and opinions on shaping what happens with the events going forwards.

A huge thanks to all those who made it to WALAN at Supanova!It was great to see those who were there really keen to play games right through the evening and even into the wee hours of the morning. With a little over a week to go until our event at SupaNova, we've got a bunch of announcements to make for the event!First but certainly not least, the tournament timetable for the event has been released!

Additionally, we've taken your feedback from the last SupaNova event and are currently working with the staff there to ensure that snacks throughout the day will be available to LAN patrons without requiring entry to the expo, and at a reasonable price.
For those who do want to visit the SupaNova Pop Culture Expo - we've also negotiated a cheaper entry price for only $10 for WALAN patrons!
If you haven't already registered and prepaid for the event, make sure you do so immediately to secure your seat. At around only $1 per hour of gaming fun - you can't afford to miss out!
